The blind is secured in the side tracks using a welded Keder spline which has superior resistance to UV light compared to traditional stitched seams.

Optical grade 0.75mm PVC imported from Japan - this is the highest quality PVC, and unlike cheaper alternatives, it will not go yellow, brittle and cloudy, for up to 10 years when properly maintained.

Not all outdoor blinds look different on the day they go up. The difference shows up two or three winters later. Some companies use lower grade or thinner PVC that discolours and goes cloudy within a few seasons.

Unrated powdercoating corrodes quickly in NZ conditions, especially near the coast. TORC uses 0.75mm Achilles optical grade PVC, imported from Japan, and includes a free upgrade to coastal grade DuraTec powdercoating as standard.

The full Dulux powdercoat range is available. Your blinds should look as good in year eight as they do on day one.

Some suppliers use thinner, lower grade PVC to cut costs. It looks fine at install. Within a few seasons it yellows, clouds over, and blocks the light you paid to keep.
